Lost Foam Seminar in November 2015

On November 2015 the Lost Foam Council e. V. organized an overview seminar on the Lost Foam casting process. At the premises of the Fraunhofer IFAM (Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials) in Bremen lectures were held on the following topics:

• Introduction to the casting process
• Application examples
• Casting materials
• Rapid prototyping
• Designing of tools
• Machines and plants
• Quality and documentation

Additionally, it was offered a guided visit of the Lost Foam laboratory with a demonstration of all process steps at IFAM.
