Cermak E-Automotive Tech (Horgos) is currently planning with various investors to set up a production site for lost foam components in western China. The project will start with an electric motor housing made of aluminum, and the construction of complete vehicles is planned for the remainder of the year.
The first castings are to go into production at the beginning of 2022, a further expansion of the casting capacities is planned in three phases to almost 40,000 tons per year by 2028.
A particular goal of the planned industrial site is to create it in harmony with the surrounding nature and environment. Alternative energies will be used and the location chosen will ensure short delivery routes for the raw materials. The compatibility of work and leisure is also the focus of the new factory's orientation.
